The restaurant specializes in classic Sicilian dishes, with a particular emphasis on fresh seafood. Their pasta and pizzas also receive praise, with pizzas boasting a delicate balance of crisp crust and rich toppings, though some guests note room for improvement, reflecting the high culinary expectations that Sicily inspires.
The generous portion sizes ensure hearty satisfaction, making it almost impossible to leave hungry, and the family-run atmosphere enhances the warmth and authenticity of the entire dining experience. Staff, including the notably charming Giuseppe, go above and beyond to guide guests through their menus and offer genuine Sicilian hospitality. The attentive service, while occasionally a bit slow due to the intimate staffing, never distracts from the pleasure of savoring each bite.

Pizza was ok, I had better. They also didn’t have what I wanted to order for dessert and it wasn’t late in the day.

Quite a large restaurant, we ate early, so there were fewer diners, which meant atmosphere felt slightly dull. Only one waiter, which meant he had to work hard. Main dining area is quite lovely and very clean looking, perhaps recently redecorated. Price was reasonable given where we were. We had Squid and aubergine and fish pasta. Quite lovely.

Big portions couldn’t finish a meal even though it was immaculate. Perfectly cooked sea food. Friendly staff (as I got it, it’s a family run business). I’m a cat person, so I was kindly given some prosciutto for gattinis (cats). A perfect place to have a quiet and relaxing dinner

The food and service were first class. The charming waiter, Giuseppe, helped us choose our menu selection. He really went the 'extra mile' in giving us an authentic Sicilian dining experience. The food was really delicious. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Our taste buds were overwhelmed with the most delicious cuisine. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely shady courtyard setting, good food and very friendly service. Great stop en route to the sights. Large selection of local dishes, specialising in seafood. Pizza and 'just pasta' also available and very tasty.

We had a wonderful meal at Eremiti Osteria di Sicilia in Palermo. Everything we ordered was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The caponata had a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors—an authentic taste of Sicily. The grilled shrimp stood out as a highlight: perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The squid ink spaghetti was beautifully presented and came with delicious shrimp, making it both a visual and culinary delight. While the seafood ravioli was just okay, the overall quality of the food more than made up for it. We also loved the warm, freshly baked bread—soft, fragrant, and incredibly tasty. A fantastic dining experience overall!

We are always cautious of restaurants in touristic areas but you can safely go to Eremiti restaurant to enjoy pasta, pizze and last but not least typical Sicilian dishes. The staff was super friendly and the room beautiful with a discreet air conditioning. We want to go back there asap! And I almost forgot: the prices are very reasonable
